The Romanticos is a band that see the light in 2009 as a personal proyect of Iker Piris. The band is formed by singer and guitarist Iker Piris, bassist Xabier Barrenetxea and drummer Hilario Rodeiro. The trio performs covers of the genre and shows his personal touch through original compositions loaded with swing and root sounds such as Chicago blues, with touches of funk and a genuine rhythm & blues in the background. Since it started the band has given many concerts and has participated in national festivals, as well as collaborated with artists such as singer Sheilah Cuffy or guitar player Tonky de la Peña. In June 2012 they released their first work "My Time" by the hand of record label Gaztelupeko Hotsak.
