Gov't Mule

Gov't Mule (Government Mule) is a blues rock jam band born in early 1994 as a side project of The Allman Brothers Band. Like many "jam bands", is quite known in the music circuit because it is constantly rotating.

In 1997, due to the Allman Brothers were stopped discographically, Warren Haynes (vocals and guitar) and Allen Woody (bass) left him to concentrate all his time on Gov't Mule, along with drummer Matt Abts.

With the sudden death of Allen Woody in 2000, the band began to have many guests bears during their tours, culminating with the release of their second studio album, recorded with multiple bassists called Deep End. This being volume one, and then editing the second version of the same title.

Finally keyboardist Danny Louis and bassist Andy Hess (later replaced by Jorgen Carlsson) joined. The four continue to tour and record albums
