Both the turnout, which was, once again, massive in all scheduled events, as the great quality of the bands and soloists that have excelled over previous editions, closing a year that can only be described as excellent.

The musician Charlie Baty received from the chef David de Jorge the beret credited as winner of the 2017 edition of Bluesaldia.

Street Blues and the big names of this edition, together in the day that closes this edition, not forgetting the popular food and the premiere of a great young female voice: Annika Chambers.

The Festival reaches its halfway on a Saturday full of activities. Lecture, popular barbecue enlivened with music and four concerts are the highlights of a day filled with blues that includes an award to the great guitar player Charlie Baty.

The second day of the festival comes loaded with great performers: from Canada, the explosive JW Jones; from Bazil, the spectacular Igor Prado and his band, the blues of Louissiana with Kenny Neal, and a local group: the Star Blues.

We started the twelfth edition of the Festival with all the energy: twenty-four concerts, sixteen bands and artists of the first line, with free admission. From today until Sunday, marathon of the best blues in Hondarribia. Do not miss it!

This morning the festival started with the pedagogical concert. A crowd of children has filled Itsas Etxea, have danced and sung accompanied by the band Belceblues and under the direction of one of its members Oihan Vega. Bravo for the little fans!
