Great opening-night with an exclusive Canned Heat concert

The program of the thirteenth edition of the Hondarribia Blues Festival will begin at 9:30 p.m., on the main stage of the Benta, with the first basque band that will be this year for the festival: Noa Volldam & The Hell Drinkers, with the famous singer Ainhoa Eguiguren with Manu Gestido, Gus González and Sergio Villar.

Then, 22:30 h, comes the turn of the Norwegians JT Lauritsen & The Buckshot Hunters, a very active blues band with more than twenty years on the road, six successful albums and even their own record label.

And at midnight, the stars of the day: Canned Heat, with bassist Larry Taylor and drummer Fito de la Parra, two of the founding members who continue in the band, along with John Paulus and Dale Spaling. A special occasion because it is the only concert in Spain within its European tour "On the Road Again". At midnight, it will be time for the honorific award to Taylor and De la Parra: the traditional embroidered beret (“txapela").
