CANNED HEAT at the XIII HONDARRIBIA BLUES FESTIVAL

The Canned Heat band, stars of mythical festivals like Woodstock, will be the main attraction of the inaugural night of the next edition of the Hondarribia Blues Festival.

Canned Heat is the only band that has achieved 3 number-one albums worldwide and the blues band that has sold the most albums in the history of music.

The band was formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California, and its style has always been between blues rock and boogie rock. But it was not until its appearance at the mythical festivals of Monterey and Woodstock in the late 1960s that the band achieved worldwide fame.

Canned Heat will arrive in Hondarribia next July 12 as stars of the inaugural night of the festival and on stage will be two of its founding members such as the drummer Fito de la Parra and bassist Larry Taylor.
